W. Lim's heavy-duty external pump line, built around a 1725 RPM motor. The slower turning speed is the point: less wear, quieter running and longer service life than a high-speed pump moving the same water, which is what makes the Dragon the usual choice for a serious koi system running year round.

Flow at head is the figure W. Lim publishes on its pump sizing chart — real delivered flow against a stated lift, which is more useful than the max GPH rating on its own.
