Feeding

Match the feeding rate to your water temperature. Feed only what your koi will finish in about five minutes.

  • 64–86°F (18–30°C) — feed 2 to 4 times per day.
  • 41–64°F (5–18°C) — feed no more than twice daily.
  • Below 41°F (5°C) — do not feed.
