A daily koi diet built on decades of Japanese breeding and showing experience. High levels of natural color enhancers bring out deep, brilliant color and reduce washed-out tones, while elevated protein supports steady growth.

Feeding

Match the feeding rate to your water temperature. Feed only what your koi will finish in about five minutes.

  • 68–86°F (20–30°C) — feed 2 to 4 times per day.
  • 59–68°F (15–20°C) — feed no more than twice daily.
  • 52–59°F (11–15°C) — switch to Hikari Excel or Wheat-Germ Formula.
  • Below 52°F (11°C) — use Hikari Wheat-Germ Formula for cool-water digestibility.
