Aqua Meds Dual Blend

Dual Blend is the year-round beneficial bacteria for koi ponds: it combines Aqua Meds' cold-water Arctic Blend and warm-water Summer Blend in one dry concentrate. It removes ionized and un-ionized ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, reduces bottom sludge, removes algae-feeding phosphorus, and helps a filter of any size keep up with a heavy fish load. How to use it

Begin when the water is 55°F or warmer. Initial dose is 6 grams per 1,000 gallons every day for 4 days, then 4 grams per 1,000 gallons every other week for maintenance. Dilute the powder in a cup of pond water (bottled water if your tap water is chlorinated) and add it to the pond. It keeps working in water as cold as 35°F, so there is no need to stop through our winter.
