Aqua Meds Armor

Armor is a pH-buffered water conditioner with a job most conditioners do not do: it rebuilds the slime coat. A koi's slime coat is its first line of defence against parasites and bacteria, and it takes a beating from netting, bagging, shipping, spawning and parasite treatments. Armor detoxifies chlorine, chloramines and heavy metals in tap water, and lays down a protective synthetic coat with aloe vera, vitamin E and electrolytes while the fish rebuilds its own.

When we use it

Every time a new koi goes into quarantine, after any handling or treatment, and whenever you can see damaged scales, torn fins or patchy slime. It is also a good conditioner for routine water changes in a pond with fish recovering from anything.

How to use it

Dose per the label for the volume of water being added or treated; 5 mL equals one teaspoon for measuring.
